The Planning Institute of Australia aims to promote the study of planning and the improvement of the skills practising planners in Australia. To achieve these aims, ÂÜÀò°®Å¾Íø has for many years accredited tertiary education courses and recognised Australian qualifications that are considered to provide an adequate foundation of theory, skills, and knowledge to allow graduates to work as planners in the field of urban and regional planning. QUT Planning Students Association (QUTPSA)

The QUT Planning Students Association is a QUT Guild affiliated club that aims to encourage and inspire QUT planning students and assist them in navigating the complex world of urban and regional planning. We host a variety of networking events, social gatherings, and educational workshops to help students develop their knowledge, skills and interests, and connect them with peers and industry professionals. UQ Organisation of Planning Students (UQ OOPS)

The Organisation of Planning Students (UQ OOPS) is a UQ Union affiliated society. We aim to provide our members with opportunities in industry, sporting and social fields. As a small society, we take pride in truly knowing our members and providing tailored events for them. OOPS regularly partners with other UQU societies, inter-uni societies and the UQ School of Earth & Environmental Sciences to provide cross disciplinary events. OOPS holds a number of annually reoccurring industry, sporting and social events. These are events that hold value in the community or within the student body itself, including: Employable Skills Night, Industry Night, pub crawls, trivia nights, TRL competitions and other sporting teams, and our End of Year Ball.
